It does a lot and it's fantastic, when it works. Far too many bugs considering the amount of money, time, research, and development that's gone into this program. The texting feature is always hit or miss and often texts someone other than who I specifically mentioned. This has led to very confusing situations. It's wonderful to use when the routines, songs, GPS, etc. work! It just doesn't work, so much of the time.

Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Simply says "The Google Assistant isn't supported on this device" It previously worked fine and great. I used it every day, multiple times a day. As well as controlling my Google Home. Great to see they phased out my device without warning. I've reinstalled, updated, changed preferences, etc.. not an issue on my end.

Update.. I already wrote to community. No help. It seems to be working poorly with recent updates. When I tell the assistant to add items to a list, it says it does it, even shows in the pop-up screen on android that it is on the list but doesn't actually save it to my list. Also when I tell it to read messages when driving sometimes the volume is decreased to basically silenced and even adjusting with volume buttons won't fix. Also no longer can use "repeat that".
